OUR GUIDE FOR THE JOURNEY OF LIFE
Psalms 32:8
1Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.
2Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.
3When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long.
4For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah.
5I acknowledge my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.
6For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him.
7Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.
8I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.
9Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee.
10Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the LORD, mercy shall compass him about.
11Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.
verse 1-5 : Speaks the wonder of God's Forgiveness
verse 7 : Speaks of His deliverance and preservation
verse 8-11 : The theme is the Guidance of God

1. The Journey we are to take (32:8)
2 things about Journey
a. Kind of Journey the whole of which is planned by God.
* God has a perfect plan for us.
b. It is a Journey the details of which are revealed by God.
* God comes to you personally and he reveals to you His will for your life,
and does this a step at a time
2. Instructions we are to follow
Threefold Instructions
a. Listen - the Lord says " I will instruct thee"
b. Learn - The Lord himself " I will teach thee"
* He teaches us through His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ
* He is our great example and teacher
c. Look - The Lord says " I will guide thee with mine eye"
* He does this by His Spirit
3. The Danger that we are to avoid (32:9)
Two Dangers indicated in Psalms 32:9
a. We are not to be impulsive like the horse
b. We are not to be abstinate like the mule
4. The Benefits we are to enjoy (32:10-11)
2 Benefits mentioned
a. The Lord's guiding without
* Christian, you are absolutely safer in God. Keeping for twice and for eternity
b. The Lord's Gladness within
* Is well for us to remind ourselves that the happiest place in the world is to be in the
center of God's will, seeking to do the things that is pleasing to Him.
