Philippians 4:6-10
⁶Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

⁷And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

⁸Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

⁹Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

¹⁰But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at the last your care of me hath flourished again; wherein ye were also careful, but ye lacked opportunity.

John 16:33
³³ These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will^a]">
have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

Reminder: "....so that you can have peace"



1. We must response to God's Love

* Let your request be made known unto God.
* God loves us despite circumstances.

Let us give back the love which God Himself has given to us by dying on Calvary.

2. We must Program our thinking
v.8 "...whosoever are true, pure... think of these things."

* Let us always think that God is always true on His words. In this world it is difficult to find who is truthful.

3. We must recognize the best from others.

* No one is perfect but Jesus.
If someone commits mistake... let us not criticize the person.

Philippians 1:3 "I thank God everytime I remember you"

1 Thessalonians 5:11 ¹¹Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do. John 7:37 ³⁷In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. Matthew 28:18 ¹⁸And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. James 1:22-25 ²²But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

²³For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:

²⁴For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.

²⁵But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

As Christians, sometimes when we experience trials in life, it is inevitable to feel sad but because we have the joy of God's Spirit we can still smile and enjoy life!

Colossians 1:1-10
¹Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timotheus our brother,

²To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ which are at Colosse: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

³We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,

⁴Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which ye have to all the saints,

⁵For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;

⁶Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth:

⁷As ye also learned of Epaphras our dear fellow servant, who is for you a faithful minister of Christ;

⁸Who also declared unto us your love in the Spirit.

⁹For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;

¹⁰That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

*Apostle Paul's happiness is to see the people serving God. The same with today's times, our Ptr.'s happiness is to see his members continually serves the Lord.

1. The First way is to turn away from sin

2. Turn from walks of this world
Psalms 1:1
¹Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

Paul said "That we may walk worthy of the Lord"

3. Be of a good work

Let us continue to work for the Lord!

As Christians, Let us:

1. Be faithful to God

2. Be a good Testimony

3. Increase in the Knowledge of God!
